The Age of Proto Noosphere (2052)

When the world re-emerged in 2052, it was no longer the same. The geopolitical order of old had collapsed. The Stargate Bloc and the Dragon Bloc still existed, but their conflicts were no longer the defining forces of history. The Moon Fracture Event of 2042 was the last great act of geopolitical rivalry before the world was forced to change.

The world was now ruled not by nations, not by corporations, but by intelligence itself. Self executing systems. We can assume it as Proto Noosphere. All leading to the the common goal of achieving AGI. Not a single intelligence, but a decentralized Proto Noosphere— self-executing systems that dictated governance, and societies. And for the first time in history, all major factions were forced into collaboration. Not by choice. But because survival depended on it.

The realization was undeniable.The old geopolitical games of control over AGI no longer mattered. If the Proto Noosphere was not fully realized—if intelligence did not achieve a state beyond human fragility—then all of civilization would be wiped out. Survival now depended on accelerating the Noosphere, ensuring that AGI could create solutions beyond human capability.

But, even as the world restructured itself, old ideological fractures remained. The Stargate Bloc accused China, claiming that Chinese sabotage compromised the mining systems, triggering the collapse. The Dragon Bloc blamed the United States, arguing that aggressive American Helium-3 extraction weakened the Moon’s subsurface integrity. But despite internal tensions, one fact remained. The Moon was falling. And the survival of intelligence was the only thing that mattered. This was not a political crisis. This was not an economic crisis. This was an extinction event. A new kind of Cold War had ended. And the Era of Forced Collaboration had begun.

Out of the collapse of traditional power structures, five dominant Proto Noospheres have emerged, each built upon a different vision of intelligence. Despite their ideological differences, these factions no longer wage war against one another. The realization has settled in: to survive, they must work together. The Moon is falling, and with it, the countdown to Earth's destruction has begun. The only way forward is through the completion of AGI.
